Consulting, Editorial, & Writing Services

Below are links to four services my clients commonly use.

But every book project is unique.

With past authors, I’ve done everything from drafting an editorial assessment letter to liasing with agents or fully rewriting their manuscript. I can also be your thought partner, cheerleader, deadline nudge, or person you text for a reminder about how to use Track Changes.

If the help you need doesn’t fall neatly into one of the tiles below, click “Customized Publishing Support” to read more about ways I can be your partner in whatever your publishing journey might be. Or just hit “Contact Matt” to start with a free 30-minute exploratory call.

  • Publishing Consultation

We’ll clarify your goals, decide on pursuing traditional publishing, self-publishing, or hybrid, and design your roadmap.

  • Proposal Development

We’ll hone your vision, develop and refine your proposal, and prepare you to reach out to publishers or literary agents.

  • Developmental Editing

We’ll take your partial or full draft manuscript and develop its structure, flow, readability, and storytelling.

  • Collaborative Writing or Ghostwriting

For those whose wisdom lives in talks, transcripts, and teachings and need someone to put it it together in a coherent flow. Or who want to share their ideas and stories in interviews and conversation and leave the writing to me.
